Key Principles for Unblocking Communications Outlined by the National Security Council Secretary
Azerbaijan has agreed on the principles for unblocking communication routes, and now the Armenian side expects Azerbaijan to publicly affirm this agreement. This was stated by the Secretary of the Armenian National Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, during a conversation with reporters after signing a condolence book at the Iranian Embassy in Armenia.
According to him, Armenia continues to insist that every infrastructure to be unblocked must be under the sovereignty and jurisdiction of the respective country, and the unblocking should take place based on the principles of equality and reciprocity.
“These are the main principles within which we are prepared to organize the unblocking and work in this direction. Armenia will continue to work toward the unblocking of regional infrastructure,” the Secretary of the Security Council elaborated.
