Iran Has a Deeply Destructive Influence in the Region and the World, Says Cameron
Iran has a deeply destructive influence not only in the region but also in the world. This statement was made by David Cameron, the head of the UK Foreign Office, as reported by the Telegraph.
“Iran has a deeply destructive influence in the region and the world, there is no doubt about that. There are the Houthis, there is Hezbollah, there are Iranian-backed militias in Iraq that have, in fact, attacked British and American bases and forces. And of course, there is Hamas. Hence, there are all these proxies, and I believe it is critically important that, first and foremost, Iran receives a clear signal that this escalation is unacceptable,” Cameron stated.
Cameron noted that the level of danger and insecurity in the world is at an extraordinarily high level compared to previous years.
