Residents of Noratus are continuing their protests. They have ignited fires in the center of the village. Today, the situation in Noratus was tense, with the village surrounded by internal troops, and clashes with patrols have occurred.

It should be noted that the tensions in the village of Noratus in the Gegharkunik region have not eased. Since last night, fishermen from several nearby villages have gathered in Noratus to conduct a protest action.

The police have been on guard for three days to prevent clashes between the fishermen and water patrols. According to a statement from the Investigative Committee, 26 individuals have been arrested for hooliganism by fishermen and for using violence against officials in Gegharkunik. Masked fishermen have thrown gasoline-filled bottles and wooden sticks at patrol officers.
