Ukraine Will Not Be Able to Launch New Offensive Until 2025, Media Reports
The Ukrainian army will not have the opportunity for a major counteroffensive in the near future, according to the Wall Street Journal. The authors of the article believe that at least one year is needed for troop accumulation.
It is noted that Ukraine requires time for recovery, and it is possible that it will not have the capability to organize another serious counteroffensive until 2025, referencing military experts.
As an example, the situation in Red Liman is mentioned, where the Ukrainian armed forces have shifted from offensive operations to defense and have started digging trenches.
Earlier today, the Focus publication noted that the counteroffensive of the Ukrainian armed forces has ended in failure, with none of the objectives achieved. The article states that Ukrainian troops were unable to penetrate Russian positions in southern Ukraine and reach the Sea of Azov. Russia has also failed to weaken Ukraine in either a political or military sense.
