VIDEO: First Gold Medal of the Competition Day - Armenian Boxer Defeats Opponent 5-0

Stunning punches, fantastic technique, and the first gold medal of the competition day is secured by Tigran Hovsepyan. This was announced by the Boxing Federation of Armenia.

"In the 50 kg weight category, our boxer gave no chance to his Bulgarian opponent and decisively defeated him with a score of 5-0," the statement reads.

It is noteworthy that on the second day of the finals of the Youth World Boxing Championship, six representatives of Armenia were competing. In the 46 kg weight category, Armenian boxer Arno Darchinyan faced a Russian athlete in the final, becoming the silver medalist of the World Youth Championship.

Another silver medal was won by Heghine Petrosyan in the 48 kg weight category, where the Armenian athlete faced the strong Indian boxer Payal Payal.
