Israel Opens Artillery Fire Towards Syria
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that it opened artillery fire towards Syria on Sunday morning in response to a missile launched towards Israel, according to Haaretz.
The IDF stated that the missile "did not align with policy," and that the army retaliated with artillery fire. The announcement also noted that an anti-tank missile was fired from Lebanon towards Israel in the vicinity of Kibbutz Iftach. There are no reports of casualties, and the army responded with artillery fire.
