New Details Regarding the Death of an Individual at the National Academy of Sciences
A criminal investigation has been initiated in connection with a death incident at the National Academy of Sciences. This information was provided to Auroranews by the Investigative Committee.
"The deceased is an elderly individual, and there are no signs of violence upon external examination of the body. It is tentatively assessed as sudden death. A forensic medical examination has been ordered, and the definitive cause of death will be clarified based on its findings," said the spokesperson for the Investigative Committee, Gor Abrahamyan.
It is noteworthy that information had circulated in the media regarding an extraordinary incident that occurred on November 28 in Yerevan. Around 12:10 PM, a call was received at the Arabkir police department from the 'Center' ambulance station in Yerevan, reporting that ambulance crew number 019 had been dispatched to the National Academy of Sciences on Baghramyan Avenue, where a man's body was discovered.
Police and investigators have determined that the deceased is 67-year-old Vardan T., a resident of the Ararat region, who died in his office located on the second floor of the Institute of Mechanics of the National Academy of Sciences at approximately 11:55 AM on the same day.
