Are We So Childish That Russia Would Drag Us to Our Doom? - MP from the Civil Contract Party
We are not changing our foreign policy vector, but we need to determine the degree of our dependency.
This was stated by Hakob Aslanyan, a member of the National Assembly from the Civil Contract party, in an interview with Tert.am.
According to the MP, Armenia is negotiating with Europe and America, which is in the interest of the homeland. “No one has the right to teach us with whom it is good for us to be,” the MP emphasized, adding, “Are we so childish that Russia would drag us by the hand to the place of our destruction? Russia, what business do you have with which direction Armenia wants to go? The Armenian people say that they no longer perceive you as a friend, taking into account recent events. We have not had a state; now we are starting to build a state. We have only had a land and a power.”
