Criminal proceedings have been initiated on two charges following an incident during a session of the Yerevan City Council. This was reported to Auroranews by Gor Abrahamyan, the spokesperson for the Investigative Committee.
“We received a report from the police, based on which criminal proceedings have been initiated under Article 297 and Article 195 of the Criminal Code regarding hooliganism committed by a group and physical assault. The investigation is currently underway; the proceedings have just been initiated, and further investigative actions need to be carried out,” noted Abrahamyan.
