Designated Areas for Dog Walking in Yerevan: Which Addresses Are Planned?
During a working consultation at the Yerevan City Hall today, Mayor Tigran Avinyan was briefed on the progress made towards allocating dog parks in the 12 administrative districts. Information received from the districts about designated areas was presented.
“There are clear projects implemented, and there are designated areas that need to be consistently completed; purchase tenders should be announced, and they should be constructed. I ask you to personally follow this process,” the mayor stated, addressing Deputy Mayor Armen Pambukhchyan.
Pambukhchyan informed that there are also proposals from the members of the Council, which can be considered later. During the City Hall’s working session, the planned addresses were presented: Center – Misak Manushyan Park; Shengavit – Komitas Park area; Kanaker – Minas Avetisyan Park and the intersection of Paruyr Sevak-Dro Streets; Nor Nork – 7th section of Nork, adjacent to the shooting range; Norq Marash – near 26/1 Garegin Hovsepyan Street; Avan – park adjacent to 42 Mysnikyan; Arabkir – park being constructed at the final stage of the Kanaker hydroelectric station; Davtashen – the end of the central park; Ajapnyak – the end of the tree-lined area in the Nazarbeyan community; Malatia-Sebastia – parks of Love and Faith, as well as another one, Zatikyan’s public garden; Erebuni – Vardavar Park, along with the area adjacent to 5/11 Arin-Berd Street; Nubarashen – near the beginning of the 6th street of Nubarashen.
