VIDEO: Hundreds of Thousands Protest in Madrid Against Prime Minister
On Saturday, approximately 170,000 people participated in a protest in Madrid against the actions of Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, according to data from the country's authorities reported by EFE. In contrast, the organizers of the demonstration claimed that 1 million citizens took part. Earlier reports indicated that among the protesters were the leader of the People's Party of Spain, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, and Santiago Abascal, the leader of the Vox party.
The massive demonstration participants expressed their dissatisfaction with Prime Minister Sánchez for forming a coalition with smaller Catalan parties. In exchange for his position, he has promised amnesty to Catalan separatists.
