VIDEO. My wife is not illegally exploiting a sand mine; she is engaged in sand washing, Bagratyan says
“The situation is completely distorted, there are absolutely no grounds; the mine operates legally, and the documents are with the director. My wife is engaged in gardening and has requested permission to wash sand for her own needs. She has received legal permission. All the facts mentioned by the journalist are distorted,” said Sergey Bagratyan, a member of the "Civil Contract" faction, in a conversation with reporters, responding to questions about his wife allegedly exploiting an illegal sand mine.
It is noteworthy that the news outlet “Hetq” reported that an illegal sand mine is being exploited in the village of Ranchpar in the Ararat region. The mineral extractor is a company owned by the wife of MP Sergey Bagratyan from the National Assembly's “Civil Contract” faction. Prior to exploiting the mining site, no assessments were conducted, and no mining contract was signed. The subsoil, considered property of Armenia, has been illegally extracted for months. This continues even today. For more details, watch the video.
