Children for Children: Discussions Between Israel and Hamas
Israel and the Palestinian radical movement Hamas are considering a hostage exchange option proposed during negotiations under the formula "children for children." This was reported by the Israeli Kan public broadcaster, citing its sources. The information is also conveyed by TASS.
The relevant proposal was received during negotiations mediated by Qatar and the United States. Sources claim that it involves the release of Israeli children held in the Gaza Strip in exchange for Palestinian children currently imprisoned in Israel.
According to Kan, negotiations are still ongoing, and no final agreement has been reached yet.
