Estimated Damage from Israeli Strikes in Gaza Stands at $3 Billion

The damage inflicted on residential buildings and infrastructure in Gaza due to Israeli strikes is estimated to be around $3 billion, according to the enclave's government press service, as reported by TASS.

"According to preliminary estimates, the damage to residential buildings and towers amounts to $2 billion, while the damage to infrastructure is estimated at nearly $1 billion," the statement read.

According to the Gaza government's data, since the escalation of the conflict began on October 7, Israel has dropped more than 13,000 bombs on the enclave. It was noted that over half of the residential units in the enclave have been damaged by the shelling, with 40,000 units completely destroyed.
