Israel Urges Citizens to Immediate Leave Egypt and Jordan
The National Security Council of Israel (NSC) has raised its travel warning for Israelis in Egypt and Jordan to the highest level, indicating that citizens should immediately leave those countries, according to a statement from the office of the Israeli Prime Minister.
“The NSC has raised the warning for Egypt and Jordan to level 4 (high threat) and recommends against traveling to these countries. Those who are in these countries should leave their territories as soon as possible,” the announcement stated.
A warning has also been issued for those wishing to travel to Morocco (threat level 3). It is advised not to visit the country unless absolutely necessary.
The Israeli National Security Council has noted that against the backdrop of the ongoing conflict, there has been a recent escalation of anti-Israel protests in various countries around the world, particularly in the Middle East, marked by expressions of hostility and violence against Israeli and Jewish symbols.
It is important to recall that on the morning of October 7, Israel was subjected to an unprecedented missile attack from the Gaza Strip.
