Iran's Armed Forces Will Not Enter Combat Under One Condition: Iranian Representation at the UN
Iran will not enter into military conflict with Israel due to the escalation of tensions in the Middle East, provided that the Jewish state does not attack the Islamic Republic. This was stated by Iran's permanent mission to the UN in an interview with Reuters.
“Iran’s armed forces will not enter combat on the condition that the Israeli apartheid regime does not dare to attack Iran, its interests, and its citizens. The resistance front will be able to defend itself,” the diplomats noted.
On October 15, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian announced during a meeting in Doha with Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani that if Israel continues to strike civilian populations in the Gaza Strip, the scale of the conflict could widen.
Later, in an interview with Al Jazeera, he mentioned that the Islamic Republic has warned the Jewish state through mediators to refrain from further bombings of the Palestinian enclave.
