Journalists Will Not Be Allowed to Enter the City Hall for Tigran Avinyan's Swearing-in Ceremony
The Information Department of the Yerevan City Hall has announced that there will be a solemn ceremony for the swearing-in of Yerevan's newly elected mayor, Tigran Avinyan, on October 13.
The event will be broadcast online via the official website of the Yerevan City Hall, its Facebook page, and YouTube channel.
“Considering the large number of guests and the technical capabilities for media operations on site, we kindly request that coverage be done via the official broadcast. Due to the aforementioned reasons, access to the city hall's administrative building for media personnel will not be permitted during the swearing-in ceremony. However, video and photos from the ceremony will be provided to the media,” the message states.
