What Happens in Israel/Palestine Will Directly and Indirectly Affect Us, Says Turkologist
Reports have been coming in since morning that a new war has begun between Israel and Palestine. Turkologist Varuzhan Geghamyan wrote about this on Facebook.
“Reading this news, many of you may want to brush it off and quickly move on. After all, it seems unrelated to us. But don’t rush. It is connected. We, Armenia, are not only a part of the same region—the Middle East—as Israel and Palestine, but we are also interconnected through clear geopolitical ties. What is happening and has happened in the Artsakh-Syunik front in Armenia is part of the same larger game as what is currently unfolding in Ukraine, Israel, and Palestine.”
In this regard, it is enough to recall that Israel is assisting Azerbaijan and arming it against us, as it seeks to neutralize the threat posed by Iran in Palestine, Syria, and elsewhere. Therefore, what happens in what may seem to us a “distant and unlikely” Israel/Palestine will directly and indirectly affect us.
