France Evaluates Armenia's Defense Needs
France is assessing Armenia's needs in the defense sector. This was stated by French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu in an interview with the 'Franceinfo' radio station.
“The President (Emmanuel Macron) is personally monitoring what is happening, as this issue is extremely important for France. He has said that our absolute objective is the integrity, sovereignty, and defense of the Armenian population.
We have initiated a defense mission in a country where such a thing has not existed until now, and it will allow us to maintain daily contact with the Armenian army and authorities to assess their defense needs. In any case, we are considering inquiries coming from Armenia so they can defend themselves,” Lecornu added.
