"The Republic of Cyprus remains open to the Armenian people. In this context, the Cypriot government is ready to provide immediate humanitarian assistance to thousands of Armenians displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh, who are fleeing their ancestral homes. In this regard, the possibility of housing a number of Armenian refugees in our country is also being considered if such a necessity arises," the statement indicates.
