5 Tons of Humanitarian Aid from France to Armenia
The urgent medical assistance dispatched by French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna has been transferred to the Armenian Ministry of Health. This was reported by the Embassy of France in Armenia.
"France is firmly committed to standing by Armenia and the Armenian people, providing support to refugees forced to leave their land and homes," the embassy informed.
The Armenian Ministry of Health also announced that the humanitarian cargo from France has arrived in Armenia, with Deputy Minister Lena Nanushyan and the French Ambassador to Armenia Olivier Décottignies welcoming the delivery of 5 tons at the "Zvartnots" international airport.

"The donation includes medical equipment and medications for the treatment of our compatriots who have been violently displaced from Artsakh and severely injured. Lena Nanushyan expressed gratitude to her French counterparts for assisting Armenia in overcoming these difficult times and providing patients with necessary medical supplies," the ministry reported.
As previously mentioned, the 5 tons of medical aid from France comprise medical equipment and medications for those treated due to severe injuries from the explosions, including those forcibly displaced from Artsakh.

Earlier, on September 26, Armenia's Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Narek Mkrtchyan, met with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of France, Olivier Décottignies. The ambassador informed the minister that France would send medical equipment and supplies for those affected by the explosions, and is also allocating 7 million euros to address the social needs of individuals forcibly displaced from Artsakh.
