Yerevan State University Addresses Displaced Individuals from Artsakh
Yerevan State University has begun admitting individuals forcibly displaced from Artsakh. The university's organizational department reports that those wishing to continue their studies must submit an application to the university's academic methodology department through the organizational division. The presence of documentation is not mandatory.
Based on the applications, data will be collected, and applicants will be given the opportunity to attend classes in relevant faculties and departments. Currently, there are still many licensed spots available in the faculties, except for the Faculty of Law; however, efforts are underway to address this issue in favor of the applicants.
Admissions are still being conducted according to the students' desires. This will be a temporary solution until clear directives are provided from the relevant authorities.
At the moment, work is underway in Artsakh to gather complete data on students, which will be forwarded to the educational authorities of the Republic of Armenia.
