Number of Citizens Displaced from Artsakh to Armenia Approaching 70,000
The number of citizens forcibly displaced from Artsakh and arriving in Armenia is approaching 70,000. This information was shared by the spokesperson of the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nazeli Baghdasaryan.
“As of 12:00 PM, a total of 68,386 individuals displaced from Artsakh have arrived in the Republic of Armenia,” she wrote on her Facebook page.
It is worth noting that on September 19, Azerbaijan launched a large-scale attack against Artsakh. The Azerbaijani armed forces violated the ceasefire along the entire contact line, launching missile and artillery strikes. As a result of Azerbaijani aggression, there are at least 200 fatalities and more than 400 injuries.
