US and EU Pressuring Armenia to Withdraw from CSTO, Says Zakharova
Washington and Brussels are influencing Yerevan to make a decision to withdraw from the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). This was stated by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, during a briefing.
“According to incoming information, Washington and Brussels are urging the Armenian leadership to withdraw from the CSTO, accelerate cooperation with NATO, reorient the military-technical cooperation program, and sign a peace agreement with Azerbaijan without taking into account the rights and security of the Armenians in Artsakh,” added Zakharova.
