Urgent International Humanitarian Aid Needed for Nagorno-Karabakh: Borrell
Urgent international humanitarian aid is needed for Nagorno-Karabakh. This was stated by the head of the EU's foreign policy service, Josep Borrell, on his microblog.
"Our thoughts are with the victims of the tragic fuel explosion that occurred in Stepanakert yesterday and their families. It is essential to urgently ensure access to international humanitarian aid for Nagorno-Karabakh. The EU has announced additional assistance and is ready to do more," he wrote.
It is worth noting that the European Union has already announced that it is increasing humanitarian funding to address the growing needs arising from the crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh by €5 million.
