Shoigu Discusses Situation in Artsakh with Iranian Armed Forces Chief of Staff
The Minister of Defense of Russia, Sergey Shoigu, and the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Mohammad Bagheri, have discussed the situation in Artsakh, Syria, and Afghanistan during negotiations held in Tehran, as reported by TASS.
"This certainly includes both Syria and Afghanistan, as well as what is currently happening near your northern neighbor—Karabakh," Shoigu stated, suggesting that bilateral military cooperation be addressed in the discussions.
Moreover, the Russian Defense Minister continued, "there are a number of issues that need to be discussed today and tomorrow." He mentioned that these include topics related to education, exchange of experiences, delegation exchanges, and joint naval exercises.
