«I Can’t Imagine That Putin Did This»: Lukashenko
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, commenting on the crash of Yevgeny Prigozhin's plane, stated that he cannot say who was responsible, but he cannot imagine that Russian President Vladimir Putin is to blame.
“I cannot say who did this. I won’t become my big brother’s lawyer. But I know Putin. He is a prudent, very calm, and even slow-moving person when making decisions on other, less complex issues. I can’t imagine that Putin did this, that Putin is to blame. It’s an extremely rough, unprofessional job,” Lukashenko's words are quoted by Sputnik Belarus.
Lukashenko noted that many are now trying to attribute the responsibility for the disaster to the Russian president. However, according to the Belarusian leader, the Russian head of state has absolutely nothing to do with it.
