Rock Falls on Road Segment Leading to Zovuni
On August 22, at 08:42, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that a rock had fallen onto the roadway leading from the Bypass Tunnel to Zovuni. As a result, the road has become one-way. This information was provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
A firefighting and rescue team was dispatched from the Fire and Rescue Department of the Yerevan City Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to the scene.
Rescuers, with the help of special equipment, removed the rock from the roadway, and two-way traffic has since been restored.
