10-Year-Old Child Killed During Shootout Between Drug Dealers in France
A 10-year-old child has been killed during a shootout in the city of Nîmes, France. The shootout reportedly occurred between drug dealers. This information was shared by French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin on his social media page X (formerly Twitter).
"A ten-year-old child has been killed in Nîmes, apparently during a settling of scores between drug dealers. This is a huge tragedy that will not go unpunished," wrote the minister.
The head of the Interior Ministry reminded that numerous drug dealers have been arrested in recent weeks. He also announced that the police will strengthen their presence as part of efforts to combat drug trafficking across the country.
