Photos: A Two-Story House Burned in Tavush Province, Body Discovered in Basement
A two-story private house has burned down in the village of Barekamavan in Tavush Province. Rescue workers discovered the body of 87-year-old N.V. in the basement. This information was provided by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia.
It was reported that the fire alert was received by the crisis management center of the Tavush regional rescue department today at 05:39 AM.
Rescue teams that arrived at the scene determined that the fire had started in one of the houses on 2nd Street, 6th alley, 4th dead end, and in a nearby storage. The fire was contained by 07:58 AM and extinguished by 11:52 AM. The two-story house, measuring approximately 200 square meters, along with its contents and the roof of an adjacent storage (about 40 square meters), was burned down.
