Two People Die in Underground Sewage System During Heavy Rain in Moscow
Heavy rainfall in Moscow, Russia has led to a tragic incident as two individuals have reportedly died in an underground sewage system (collector). During the downpour that occurred yesterday, at least two people lost their lives in the sewer.
Preliminary reports indicate that the tragedy struck when the water level in the sewage system rose sharply due to the rain, leaving the individuals little chance to escape. It is noted that the group included up to eight people, among them several teenagers. When the rain began, communication with them was lost.
Currently, the bodies of a girl and a man who had disappeared following the rainfall have been recovered from the underground sewer.
