Azerbaijan Does Not Allow Helen's Body to Return to Her Homeland for Burial: MFA Spokesperson
Helen was a resident of Nagorno-Karabakh and was studying in Armenia. She passed away five days ago due to a horrific car accident. Azerbaijan is not allowing her body to be returned to her homeland for burial. The same applies through the ICRC. This was stated by the spokesperson of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ani Badalyan, on X.
Currently, Helen's body is "waiting," the spokesperson noted. It is worth mentioning that Helen Dadayan was from the town of Chartar in Martuni. Due to the complete blockade of Artsakh, she had been cut off from her homeland for nine months.
