20 Drones Attacked Crimea: Russian Defense Ministry

On the night of August 12, Russian military forces repelled an attack by twenty Ukrainian drones on Crimea, reporting no casualties or damage, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.

“Tonight, an attempt by the Kyiv regime to conduct a terrorist attack on Crimean peninsula targets using twenty drones has been thwarted. Fourteen Ukrainian drones were destroyed by air defense systems. Six more drones were shot down by electronic warfare means. As a result of the thwarted terrorist attack, there were no injuries or damage,” the statement read.
