Lamborghini to Launch Electric Sports Car
The Italian sports car manufacturer Lamborghini will unveil a new concept model in California. This was reported by insideevs.com. The name of the vehicle is being kept a secret.
According to the publication, the premiere will take place on August 16 during Monterey Car Week, an event showcasing the world's most exclusive models. It is still unclear what this new electric concept car will look like and what type of engine it will have.
Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann stated that the new electric Lamborghini will be based on a platform developed by the Volkswagen Group. In the future, this platform will also be used by Bentley and Porsche.
