France Conducts Secret Operation in Niger
The authorities of Niger have reported that French military personnel conducted a secret operation, resulting in the release of 16 leaders of terrorist organizations who were detained by the Nigerien army in June. This is reported by the Telegram channel Readovka.
French forces are also working to suppress the insurgency in Niger by attacking the National Guard and violating the country's airspace. Both in terms of personnel and military equipment, the advantage lies with France and its allies on the African continent; however, insurgent forces, supported by neighboring states, are trying to break free from Paris's influence.
At the same time, the French Foreign Ministry has warned its citizens against any travel to Niger, Mali, and Burkina Faso due to heightened regional tensions.
