Photos: Suspects in Armed Attack in Vahagni Neighborhood Identified, One is a Former Criminal Boss

An armed and masked robbery incident has been uncovered at the Vahagni restaurant complex in Yerevan, specifically in the Vahagni neighborhood. This information comes from Shamshyan.com.

According to the report, police have identified and taken into custody three individuals suspected of carrying out the robbery: 29-year-old Arsen Grigoryan, 40-year-old Haik Ghazinyan, and 43-year-old Ahmad Umarov, a citizen of Russia.

It is noted that during a search, part of the stolen money was found in their possession, while a loaded Makarov-type pistol with eight 9mm bullets and an F-1 grenade with its detonator were discovered from Grigoryan's bag. Haik Ghazinyan is noted to have previously been a criminal boss, more commonly known by the nickname 'Asturkani Haiko'.

The suspects were found in an Audi vehicle with Russian license plates, which has also been retrieved by the police and taken to a secure storage area at the Mashtots Police Department.

Recall that yesterday, on August 5, it was reported that a robbery took place at the Vahagni restaurant, during which 5 million drams and several million worth of beverages were stolen.
