Military reinforcement occurred throughout all 44 days of the war. This was stated by the former Minister of Defense of Armenia, David Tonoyan, during a session of the parliamentary inquiry committee investigating the circumstances of the 44-day war, addressing the question of whether the mobilization was intentionally halted on the fourth day of the war and not organized properly.

“It is clear that this is false; such a thing did not happen,” Tonoyan refuted. “How could such a thing happen if our armed forces almost doubled? Can you imagine the numbers we’re talking about?” he added.

Speaking about how the transport of soldiers participating in the mobilization was organized to the front lines, he responded. “The reality is that the coordination period existed one way or another, but it was short. This was related to their state of preparedness. It was also long. To the extent possible, we extended that time,” he said.
