Israel Disrupts Syria's Sovereignty and Stability, Says Hakan Fidan

Israel's attacks against Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity are among the most serious threats to the country's stability. This was stated by Turkey's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.

According to him, the international community must respond more decisively to what he describes as Israel's 'occupational policy' and apply necessary pressure to uphold the 1974 separation of forces agreement and respect Syria's sovereignty.

Fidan also stated that the Israeli government's objective is to undermine efforts towards peace and to displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.

'If possible, they want to turn Gaza into a place where Palestinians do not live. However, Netanyahu will not achieve that goal. The people of Gaza will continue to live in Gaza and build their future there,' said Turkey's Foreign Minister.
