Russia Does Not Seek Military Clash with NATO but is Prepared for It, Says Putin
The Russian Federation does not desire a direct military clash between Russia and NATO, but if anyone wishes for this, Moscow is prepared, stated President Vladimir Putin. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
“We are always ready for any scenario. But nobody wants this. In fact, at the initiative of the American side, we previously established a special mechanism to prevent these conflicts. Heads of some of our departments communicate directly with each other and have the opportunity to consult on any crisis situation,” Putin said at a press conference.
He noted that this indicates that no one wishes for clashes.
