Arsen Torosyan Questioned: 'Zhoghovurd'
Arsen Torosyan, a member of the National Assembly from the Civil Contract faction, has finally appeared before the Anti-Corruption Committee and has been questioned. The ball is now in the committee's court; we will see what actions they will take regarding Torosyan and what awaits him next. This was reported by the newspaper 'Zhoghovurd'.
The newspaper also contacted the Anti-Corruption Committee, but they again did not comment on the information regarding Torosyan’s questioning, stating that they do not disclose information about any interrogations or individuals being questioned in ongoing criminal proceedings.
It should be noted that on June 30, 'Zhoghovurd' reported that a summons from the Anti-Corruption Committee had reached Arsen Torosyan, but he had not yet appeared before the preliminary investigation body. Torosyan, who had been publicly demanding to be questioned, was not presenting himself to the Committee. He has now attended and presumably clarified how the funds allocated for the prevention of COVID-19 were spent, and who made various expenditures at the state's expense under someone's patronage.
