Kadyrov Appoints Son-in-Law as Chechnya's Deputy Prime Minister
The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, has appointed Viskhan Matsuyev as the deputy prime minister and minister of agriculture of the republic. This was reported by lenta.ru, referring to his Telegram channel.
Matsuyev is Kadyrov's son-in-law, being married to his eldest daughter, Aishat Kadyrova. The latter holds the position of culture minister in Chechnya.
It is noted that before entering politics, Matsuyev worked as the head of the passport department at the Chechen migration office. Later, he led the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Chechen migration office.
