French Ambassador in Azerbaijan Supports Borrell's Statement

The French Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Anne Bouillon, has expressed support on her Twitter microblog for the statement made by the EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, regarding the necessity of opening the Lachin corridor.

The Ambassador highlighted the following excerpt from the statement:
"Azerbaijani authorities must ensure the security and freedom of movement in the Lachin corridor in the near future and prevent further escalation of the crisis."

It is worth mentioning that earlier, Borrell stated that the EU acknowledges Baku's willingness to supply goods through Aghdam, but that does not serve as an alternative to the opening of the Lachin corridor.
