Beginning Today, Process of Seizing Goods Sold Above Permissible Prices Will Commence: Gurgen Nersisyan
Despite the fact that in the current conditions of the blockade of Artsakh, marketable goods are almost exhausted, what remains is being sold to the population at prices significantly higher than the established limits, either openly or covertly by materialists among us. This was stated by the State Minister of the Republic of Artsakh, Gurgen Nersisyan, on his Facebook page.
“Hoping that the situation might self-regulate, the state has refrained from applying regulatory administrative methods and coercive measures. However, the course of events has shown that it is impossible to reach regulation without strict measures. According to a decision adopted by the Artsakh government on July 26, individuals who violate the established maximum allowable selling prices will not only face administrative liability but also the goods subject to sale will be forcibly taken at the established prices and sold to the population at affordable rates through a state organization,” he stated.
“Also, excuses for buying goods from farmers at high prices will not help; they are selling at high prices, don’t buy.” This process will begin today, and I will personally oversee its implementation. After the situation in Artsakh is stabilized, all phenomena and their perpetrators that occurred during the blockade will be subjected to moral and legal condemnation one by one. No one should doubt this; no one should think that they have remained unnoticed.”
