Photos: "Cinema" Involving an Azerbaijani and Czech Police Officers

The Czech police have arrested an Azerbaijani citizen. The incident occurred in Prague on Sunday, July 23.

Media reports indicate that Prague police initially spotted a black Porsche with heavily tinted windows on the city streets, which is prohibited under Czech law. The officers stopped the vehicle and asked the driver to present identification and a driver's license.

“The police became suspicious that the driver had presented false documents. They discovered that this individual was on a blacklist and was, therefore, in the Czech Republic illegally,” said Jan Ribansky, a spokesperson for the Prague police.

Realizing that he had been exposed, the driver accelerated the vehicle in an attempt to flee. The police began to pursue the suspect. In one of the turns, the driver lost control and crashed into a wall, causing significant damage.

The man has been arrested. Upon verification, it was revealed that he is an Azerbaijani citizen, included on a list of individuals banned from entering the Schengen area. The vehicle contained cash in euros.
