Rights of Artsakh Armenians to be Ensured Based on Azerbaijani Constitution: Aliyev

The rights and security of Armenians in Nagorno-Karabakh will be ensured by us based on the Azerbaijani constitution. This was stated by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in an interview with China Media Group.

“Dozens of different ethnic groups live in Azerbaijan, including Armenians. We have never had problems based on religious or ethnic grounds. Hence, Armenians residing in the Azerbaijani region of Karabakh will have the same rights and security guarantees as other citizens of Azerbaijan,” he said.

According to the leader of the hostile country, this fully complies with international legal norms and the international community supports Azerbaijan's position.
