Are They Really That Uncomprehending? – Aliyev on His 'Messages' to Armenia and Artsakh

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev announced that the illegal establishment of a checkpoint in the Lachin corridor was a message. He noted that the creation of the border checkpoint is an important step in the post-conflict situation, and that Azerbaijan's actions were 'accepted by all actors, although not immediately and not so willingly, but ultimately perceived as legitimate.'

'This was also a message. So, how many times do we need to send messages, how many hints do we need to make? Is what we have not enough? The actions in Parukh, the situation on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border in May 2021, and the situation at the border in September 2022, along with the border checkpoint. Just how many messages do we need to send them? Are they really that uncomprehending?' Aliyev stated.
