Youth Stabs 24-Year-Old Fellow Citizen Behind Church: Ministry of Internal Affairs

On July 17, at 00:51, the Operational Management Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received a report from the 'Gyumri' medical center that a 24-year-old resident from Gyumri had sought medical assistance for a 'stab wound to the lower back.'

Criminal investigators from the Mush Police Department conducted operational and investigative measures and established that around 00:30, during a dispute behind the church on Paruyr Sevak Street, the individual who was taken to the hospital was stabbed by a 27-year-old fellow citizen.

As a result of explanatory work, the suspect turned himself in to the Mush department and confessed to inflicting the bodily injury. He also presented the knife, the weapon used for the crime.

The 27-year-old individual and the compiled documents were submitted to the Shirak Regional Investigative Department. An investigation is underway.
