Regions of Artsakh Will Not Have the Opportunity to Connect with Stepanakert in Hours or Days: Gurgen Nersisyan

Many residents of Askeran and Martakert were unable to attend and join the popular movement, but our sisters and brothers today in both Martakert and Martuni have publicly demanded that the Russian peacekeeping forces stationed in those cities open the road to life. This was stated by Artsakh's State Minister Gurgen Nersisyan during a protest action held today, July 14, at the site of Russian peacekeepers' deployment in Artsakh. This was reported by NEWS.am.

“Today, all of Artsakh is not under blockade; rather, it is divided into four blocked pieces: the Martakert region, the Askeran region, the Martuni region, and the regions of Stepanakert and Shushi. The problems that exist today mean that these regions will not even have the opportunity to establish a connection with the capital in just hours or days,” he stated.
