Armenian Minister of State to Meet with Commander of Russian Peacekeeping Forces
Participants of a public movement rally in Artsakh have marched to the Russian peacekeeping forces' base, where they will present their demands to end the blockade of Artsakh and humanitarian disaster. According to a report from an Armenpress correspondent, the Minister of State for Artsakh, Gurgen Nersisyan, announced that a small group will meet with the commander of the Russian peacekeeping forces stationed in Artsakh, after which he will return to present the results of the meeting.
“Our next step involves setting up tents here, and everyone is waiting in the tents for our demands to be fulfilled. I believe there is no longer a difference whether we are here due to social, household, or food-related issues or in Stepanakert,” Nersisyan stated.
After the meeting with the Russian peacekeepers, some participants of the rally, including residents of Askeran, will remain in the tents near the peacekeepers' base, while others will return to the Renaissance Square in Stepanakert, where the rally that began in the morning will continue.
