A Severed Finger Sent to Macron: Élysée Palace Identifies the Owner
An anonymous letter containing a severed human finger was sent to the residence of the President of France, the Élysée Palace. The correspondence was received by the palace's postal service between July 9 and 10. This part of a human body has been handed over to law enforcement authorities, who have placed it in a freezer.
The security service of the French president has identified the owner of the finger but has not disclosed the information. The Élysée Palace has refrained from commenting on the incident, as reported by Valeurs Actuelles.
It is noteworthy that the letter with the severed finger arrived at the residence of President Emmanuel Macron just before the national holiday celebrating the Storming of the Bastille, which is observed on July 14.
